Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40110 is designed for people who want to work within the national training framework as trainers and assessors. To start this course you must have: subject expertise in the field in which you want to train and assess, English language and literacy skills sufficient to take part in training and assessment, computer literacy and access to a computer and the internet for research, accessing documents and templates from portable media and using email for communication. Computer usage is provided in the classroom for reference to internet sites and templates. Learning materials are supplied in a folder and on a memory stick.
The qualification is offered in 3 clusters. It requires15 sessions of classroom attendance (about 45 hours) and about another 90 hours of self paced study, project work and completion of assessment tasks. RPL is available for this qualification.

[C] = core unit, [E] = elective unit.
On completion of 10 units of competency from the TAE40110 training package you will be awarded the qualification certificate. Individual units undertaken will be awarded a statement of attainment.
Payment may be made in three(3) instalments of $650.
Please note: Grants of $4950 for employers of mature age workers over 50 years of age are available from the Australian Government to assist workers to participate in training or upskill to become mentors and supervisors of apprentices and trainees.visit www.deewr.gov.au. Available to employers who employ a mature age worker for at least 15 hours per week and who employs at least one apprentice or trainee who works at the same location.
