COURSE DESCRIPTION
For students with no prior experience at any level in the Spanish language. Willing to learn and practice common everyday words necessary to make yourself understood in a Spanish speaking country.
Please be aware that if you wish to learn Spanish, the language is the same regardless of whether the tutor comes from Spain or Latin America, naturally there will be variations in accent and different countries use different types of slang, however the actual language is the same. Our tutors do come from a variety of countries, often they mention this in their tutor profile (click on the tutor’s name to see their profile), but the language taught is always Spanish.
COURSE CONTENT
Speaking, reading, listening and writing.
Vocabulary and basic grammar rules to communicate with confidence in simple real life situations.
Delivery of this course is classroom based with single and group activities.
COURSE OUTCOMES
You would have become familiar with different cultures among many Spanish speaking countries.
You will be able to introduce yourself and others; ask for directions, drinks, meals and amenities.

Materials: Pen and notebook and folder to place handouts into.
This class to be delivered, as scheduled, through a virtual online classroom - Zoom!
In these challenging times we all want to stay connected and socially interact, therefore Parramatta College will be delivering this course via Zoom video call software. You don’t need the software to participate, we simply email you a link before the class starts which enables to join the video call. Please note though you will need a computer with a web cam/microphone/speakers OR a smart device, such as an ipad, iphone, or other smart phone/tablet to participate on the video call. If you have neither you can also be added as an audio participant if you wish.
Enrol as usual and we will then send you the Zoom details prior to the class starting.
